Installed a bath fan recently to replace one of those older silver noisy things typical of houses in the 70's and 80's. $120 for materials and $195 for labour (3 hours). Includes removing the old bath fan, installing a new housing, a 90cfm motor, white grille and 4" venting up to the roof (provided a vent was there to start with). Bath fan installed provides 90cfm airflow and is very quiet! My wife asked if it was working when I first turned it on.

I have been getting a few calls and questions about running VGA video to an installed projector. So far, in my experience it is proving to be much easier and cost effective to install these systems with a vga to cat5e transmitter and receiver. Note: this is not for HD video installs, only presentation projectors like those found in classrooms, churches and community halls.
There are some great benefits to running VGA video over a CAT 5E cable. First, it is good for long distances. Up to 500 feet depending on the units you use. VGA cables typically limit you to 50-75 feet. If you get 100 feet you are very lucky! Second, it is easier to install. CAT 5E cable is readily available and smaller than a VGA cable. CAT 5E connectors are also much easier to terminate than VGA connectors. Third, VGA to CAT 5E is cheaper, especially for longer runs. VGA cable is relatively expensive compared to CAT 5E, even including the connectors.
If you have a projector to install we can install CAT 5E and the transmitter/receiver for you.
